De Delvers were one of clients of my Freelance business Pixel Brand. They are a Belgian Dutch singing postpunk - new wave band. They were looking for someone that could record and edit their video content to promote their music on their social channels.

Over a period of 6 months I recorded several of their videos and photographed the band:

• Roadtrip "in het spoor van De Delvers"
• Their video clip of their single "Poolnacht"
• Live performance at Cinema Plaza Duffel
• Their Siglo XX Cover videos

• Gain more followers via social media.
• increase their bookings per year.
• Have extra content they could use for their social media & website.
• Record their video clip Poolnacht while keeping their vision intact.

• ‍Recording: We Recorded several hours of footage on different location. The biggest challenge was capturing the right atmosphere for the videoclip of Poolnacht.
• Photography: Photoshoot of the Band.
• ‍Post editing: As usual I started by going through and filtering all the footage on usability and quality. Next I created their HD videos and synced their audio on to the video.
• Special FX: I created several special Effects for their videoclip to give the impression it was recorded on Super 8mm film.

Filming with a DSLR camera at night or dark places is a real challenge to keep a decent quality; equipment does matter.

• The videos we made together are among the most watched on their YouTube channel.
• Thanks to the abundance of content they were able to post new content during the Covid pandemic and increase their online pressence.
• The band's pictures I took were used in several articles including on HLN (Het Laatste Nieuws) one of the biggest Belgian news outlets.

It's so great working with Wouter; he's fantastic, his work is endlessly creative.
