The Visionary Behind the Brand

From an early age, I was always creating. Lego, Knex, drawing, painting, you name it. If it let me build something new, I was hooked. Next to my creative soul I also had a curious side, fascinated by myths, old civilizations, and how to make the world make sense, ready to explore it, to infinity and beyond. Ancient Egypt was my first obsession, who doesn't love a good mummy movie, right? I still haven’t made it there yet neither to space, but one day I might.

That creative spark eventually grew into something bigger: a constant pull between freedom and structure. On one hand, I have always rebelled against being boxed in. On the other, my brain has this weird knack to building systems that actually work. Most of what I create today comes from trying to balance the two. I like to build what I call “freedom systems”: to provide just enough structure that give people more control over their freedom.

I cannot stand injustice, shallow thinking, or quick-win mindsets. I will always push for the alternative, the wiser way, the one that lasts. I don't aim to be the smartest guy in the room...even though my IQ of 146+ says otherwise; lucky me my birthday balances it out... On a more serious note I rather aim to be the one who sees the whole picture, understands people, and help them understand themselves better too.

Along the way, I made quite a lot of mistakes, at some point though I learned to treat mistakes as fuel. I do not always get it right the first time, but I make sure every setback pays off in lessons learned. Wins do not have to be huge to matter. Whether it is earning trust from people I look up to, stepping on stage despite extreme nerves, or simply stepping up to help when no one else does. That's the person I am, the person I strive to be.

Where am I now? Somewhere in between. I am always building on my business, chasing ideas, and staying open to wherever the flow takes me. I have goals and visions, sure. But I have learned to enjoy the process more than pretending to have it all figured out.

This is me: strategist, rebel, dreamer. Always learning. Always building. Always chasing freedom, with just enough structure to make it real.

The Origin of Brand Technica

Every journey begins with a single step, and mine started in 2018 when I set out as an entrepreneur without a defined name or brand for my work. My passion for creativity and innovation guided me to launch Pixel Brand; a name that encapsulated the heart of my early ventures into brand design and strategy. Over time, as I evolved and explored new horizons, I realized that no single name could capture the breadth of my ambitions.

This insight led to a series of milestones. In 2018 I took my first steps as an entrepreneur and the name Pixel Brand was born. In 2020, I fully established Pixel Brand as my business identity after a rebrand, helping startups and scale-ups shape their brands. For over six years, it became a trusted name for my clients and a creative outlet for my ideas. However, as my vision expanded, I felt the need to wear new hats, leading to the creation of Ace of Space in 2022; a bold concept for a co-working hub infused with creativity and innovation that landed in Semi-finals of the EWC idea stage in 2022 (Belgian Edition).

After some personal setbacks and financially difficult times I had to close Pixel Brand when 2024 arrived. This made me rethink my approach and shifted my priorities and perspective on entrepreneurship. Project were set on hold, and shifted towards building a platform to show my skills & work.

And then, there was Brand Technica.

Born from my desire to fuse technology with creativity, Brand Technica became a personal endeavor to reflect who I am and what I stand for. It embodies my deep passion for design, strategy, and innovation; a true intersection of creativity and technical expertise. While Pixel Brand represented a chapter focused on collaboration and client partnerships, Brand Technica is a frontier for my personal growth, a portfolio of my work, and a platform to offer freelance services via payroll.

At its core, Brand Technica is more than just a name; it’s a testament to my journey, a dynamic fusion of creativity, strategy, and innovation, constantly evolving with every project I take on. It represents my commitment to pushing boundaries and exploring new possibilities in branding and design.

Every name I've created, from Pixel Brand to Ace of Space and now Brand Technica, is a reflection of the same underlying passion: to build, create, and inspire. Each step has been a meaningful part of the journey, laying the foundation for future ambitions while staying rooted in the values that drive me forward.

Whether I’m crafting brand identities, mentoring fellow creatives, or dreaming up the next big idea, my mission remains the same: to turn bold visions into reality, one pixel at a time.

The story doesn't end here though; writing my own book has been on my mind for several years now. Eventually I did start to write even came up with some titles and cover designs. Over time though my insight and perspective shifted, a new, bolder, more helpful idea came to light. That idea is Strategylance, a do it yourself strategy guide that not only explains the how, but also the why behind brand strategy for your business.
