A smaller design project where I created the personal brand Identity of a Twitch streamer. They wanted some reference to Minnie Mouse and their favorite color was purple. I helped in both naming strategy and personal branding.
Designing for a more personal brand was slightly different then the usual business brand I work with. I skipped a few steps in the process, like stylescape for example since we didn't have to figure out a style anymore; she had one. My task was mostly to ask the right questions and help her explain to me how she envisioned her Twitch Channel and how she wants her followers to see her. From there I designed her logo and couple social media banners and assets she could use.
Designing for a Twitch Streamer is an experience in itself. The process of creating an identity for a more personalised brand is slightly different than for a company, much more emotionally driven. This means you really have to get know that person and ask the right questions to nail the look and feel. The biggest difference probably is that a company is more focused on designing for their target audience, while a personal brand is focused on designing for that one person to build an audience from it. Streamers don't focus on targeting a select audience but rather to attract like minded people and make them their audience.
She loved her new logo and social media imagery!
